Activities

The Chair for Business Regulation and Economic Policy conducts research in the following areas:

  • economic policy, schools of economic thought and their practical application,
  • Polish and European company law and capital market law,
  • business regulation (public economic law),
  • insolvency law (bankruptcy and restructuring),
  • public procurement law,
  • public finance,
  • economic history of Poland.

The Chair's staff members are involved in research projects realized in international and national academic cooperation with such universities as the University of Heidelberg, University of Würzburg, Vienna University of Economics, University of Padua..

Teaching activities at the Chair include courses in economic policy, business regulation (public economic law) and several monographic courses on branches of law directly influencing the economy, such as corporate governance, public procurement law or international insolvency law.

The Chair’s organisational activities include competitions for the best Master theses, academic conferences and cooperation with students scientific associations.
